Fearless Energy Drink sparks positive viral moment in Nigeria

Fearless Energy Drink goes viral after a soldier’s kind gesture calms a tense moment, sparking conversations across Nigeria

A Nigerian military officer, Onabamiji Praise Oluwatobi, has drawn national attention after using a simple act of kindness involving Fearless Energy Drink to calm a tense roadside encounter with artisan Ola Ogidan.

The incident, which occurred at a checkpoint, began as a stressful exchange but quickly shifted when the officer offered Ogidan a bottle of the drink.

The gesture proved effective, easing tension within minutes and transforming the mood into one of calm and mutual understanding.

A video of the moment circulated widely on social media, where it resonated strongly with Nigerians.

Viewers highlighted the officer’s empathy and presence of mind, describing the act as a powerful reminder of the value of patience and humanity in difficult situations.

The story soon gained traction beyond digital platforms, earning features on television programmes and amplifying conversations about kindness, restraint and responsible conduct by security personnel.

Reacting to the development, Managing Director of Rite Foods Limited, Seleem Adegunwa, said the moment reflects the broader impact of human-centred actions.

He noted that the officer’s response demonstrated professionalism and emotional intelligence in de-escalating tension.

Adegunwa added that the company was encouraged to see its product associated with a positive and meaningful outcome, emphasising that the gesture went beyond refreshment to become a tool for restoring calm.

He also commended the conduct of Nigerian military personnel, stating that service often requires restraint, compassion and sound judgment in challenging situations.

The Fearless Energy Drink moment has since sparked wider reflection on everyday kindness, with many Nigerians noting that small actions can deliver powerful outcomes.
