FIFA president Gianni Infantino has shed light on US President Donald Trump’s stance regarding Iran’s participation in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The United States, in partnership with Canada and Mexico, is set to host the tournament starting this June. Geopolitical tensions between the US and Iran have raised questions about the Iranian team’s involvement.
