The Gateway Front Foundation (GFF) has announced a free medical screening and clinical assessment programme for residents of Sagamu and Ogijo in Ogun State.
The exercise is scheduled for Monday, September 21, 2026, beginning at 9am, with residents expected to receive screening and clinical assessment for a range of medical conditions.
The programme will cover cases requiring attention in areas including eye care, dental health, general surgery, gynaecology, orthopaedics, diabetes and gastroenterology.
Among the conditions listed for assessment are cataracts, eye growths, pterygium, simple tumours, lipomas, ganglion, hernias, fibroids, vesicovaginal fistula, prostate conditions, bone fractures, dislocations and other orthopaedic cases.
Gynaecological cases, including fibroids and other conditions requiring specialist attention, will also be assessed, while patients requiring procedures such as caesarean sections and other surgical interventions may be identified for appropriate follow-up.
The screening will take place simultaneously at three locations: Orita Ijagba Square, Ijagba Street, Ijagba, Sagamu; Ewusi Palace, Ewusi Street, Makun, Sagamu; and 46 Imoro Atiba Street, after Havilah School, off Ilara Market Road, Ogijo.
The foundation has urged residents with relevant health concerns to attend the exercise and take advantage of the opportunity for assessment and further medical guidance.
The initiative adds to GFF’s history of community-focused healthcare interventions in Ogun State. Previous programmes linked to the foundation have included free medical screening and eye-care services, including eye tests, treatment, medicines and glasses for beneficiaries.
The foundation, which has also recently strengthened its healthcare leadership with the appointment of Dr Bankole Adegboyega Osisanya as Chief Medical Consultant, has continued to position healthcare as part of its broader humanitarian and community-development activities.
