Gistlovers, known for its candid approach, shared a post addressing its followers, criticising Instablog9ja’s alleged practices.

According to Gistlovers, Instablog9ja removed its name from posts before resharing, leading to the outbursts.

The post, sprinkled with humour and colourful language, condemned Instablog9ja for “cutting and joining” content, calling the practice “stomach infrastructure blogging.”

This isn’t the first time Nigerian blogs have clashed over crediting content, as many users rely on these platforms for quick updates and rely on transparent sourcing.

Gistlovers also referenced Instablog9ja’s reporting following the death of artist Mohbad, criticising how the details were presented.

In a direct message, Gistlovers warned Instablog9ja to avoid miscrediting or risk “naked thunder.”
