Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo extends heartfelt Eid al-Kabir greetings to Muslims in Anambra and across Nigeria, highlighting unity, sacrifice, and compassion
[dropcap]G[/dropcap]overnor Soludo Eid al-Kabir message has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim community in Anambra State and across Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid al-Kabir (Eid al-Adha).

In a goodwill statement conveyed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Christian Aburime, Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, emphasised the deep spiritual significance of Eid al-Kabir, which honours the faith and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim to Allah’s command.
“This celebration reminds us of the virtues of sacrifice, devotion, and submission to divine will,” the Governor stated, “virtues that transcend religious boundaries and speak to our shared humanity.”
Governor Soludo acknowledged the contributions of the Muslim community to the social and economic development of Anambra State, applauding the harmony that exists among people of diverse religious backgrounds in the state.
“Our Muslim brothers and sisters have played a vital role in the progress of Anambra. The peaceful coexistence between all faiths remains a cornerstone of our strength, and a testament to our values of tolerance, mutual respect and unity,” he said.
“May this season bring peace, prosperity and renewed hope to every home across Anambra and Nigeria
The Governor called on all Nigerians to reflect on the moral lessons of Eid al-Kabir—particularly selflessness, compassion for the less privileged, and commitment to the common good.
He noted that these principles align closely with his administration’s vision of a more prosperous, inclusive and harmonious Anambra.
“As we mark this sacred festival of sacrifice and celebration, may we renew our dedication to building a better society, one rooted in equity, love and service to humanity,” Governor Soludo urged.
