After being tipped off, my husband saw me in bed with another man at a neighboring Lodge. He surprised me because I expected him to kill us on the spot.
He merely asked that I get dressed and look for him in the car.
At that point, I was trembling from head to toe. I did not accompany him home, but when I arrived, he simply instructed me to go take a shower.
I tried to apologize, but he said he didn’t want to talk about it because there was nothing he could do to make things right.
That was the last time we discussed it. He has been good to me ever since that day. At least once a week, he gets me flowers and takes me out. He’s giving me everything I’ve ever wanted from a husband.
But I have an issue! What he witnessed last month is eating at me every day, especially because he refuses to discuss it.
I anticipated him chasing out, punishing me, or summoning a family meeting to report me. He’s the opposite. He seems to be plotting something unpleasant for me.
Sometimes I open my eyes at night and find him looking at me. When I ask him why he would be staring at me in the middle of the night, he says he’s admiring my beauty and thanking God for blessing him with a flame of a woman. I’m thinking he’s planning to do something bad to me. Am I being unnecessarily paranoid? Why should I not be worried?
