The Makurdi-based outfit are bottom of the playoff table after suffering defeat in the last match against Enyimba.
Imenger encouraged his teammates not to be deterred by the recent poor results but to continue to fight for a positive result.
“We just need to be focused and continue to work hard for a positive result,” he told DAILY POST at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
“Rivers United is another strong opponent. We know them but we need to concentrate more on ourselves in today’s game.
“We also need to raise our game to achieve our target of a continental ticket.”
Lobi Stars have recorded only one point in their two matches played in the NPL playoffs.
