Israel DMW made the remarks on Instagram, where Israel DMW stated that marrying a foreign partner is not the core issue but rather the challenges that may arise when raising children across different cultural environments.
“Going abroad to marry an Oyinbo woman or man isn’t the issue at all. Bringing back the children home is the main problem. Blacks still remain best,” Israel DMW wrote.
The comments have since generated conversation online, particularly around identity, parenting, and cross-cultural unions.
Israel DMW’s stance reflects a broader and often sensitive debate within Nigerian society about preserving cultural values in an increasingly globalised world.
In a separate post, Israel DMW also criticised a lawyer involved in the ongoing custody dispute between Davido and Sophia Momodu, warning the public to be cautious of individuals who project strong religious devotion while acting otherwise.
Israel’s suggested that such individuals may conceal deeper intentions.
The outspoken aide has previously drawn attention for personal matters, including the collapse of his marriage to Sheila Courage.
The union ended less than a year after it began, amid allegations and counter-allegations from both parties.
Israel had denied claims of physical abuse, stating that efforts were made to support and elevate the relationship, while Sheila Courage publicly disputed those assertions, offering a contrasting account of their marriage.
Following the separation, Israel DMW issued public warnings to men regarding his estranged wife and later addressed the emotional toll of divorce in an interview with Daddy Freeze, describing the experience as inherently painful.
