In a detailed Instagram post, Iyabo Ojo explained that the viral moment, where Toyin Abraham appeared to greet Funke Akindele without a response, was not an isolated incident but part of a broader history of disagreements among the actresses.

According to Iyabo Ojo, she has previously attempted to mediate between both parties, describing efforts that included private conversations, apologies, and reconciliation.

She noted that at a point, both actresses had agreed to resolve their differences away from public attention and avoid online exchanges.

The clip triggered reactions from fans and further speculation about tension between the two Nollywood stars.

Iyabo also addressed claims that Toyin Abraham was excluded from the movie, clarifying that she was initially part of the project but withdrew due to personal reasons, including fatigue and travel commitments.

She added that the production timeline required adjustments to accommodate the change.

The actress expressed disappointment over the renewed public fallout, stating that earlier reconciliation efforts had been successful before recent misunderstandings resurfaced.

She emphasised that both actresses had previously agreed to handle issues privately but suggested that recent events reignited tensions.

Iyabo Ojo concluded by urging the public to respect her decision to step back from further involvement, noting that she had done her best to mediate between both sides.

She expressed hope that the actresses would eventually resolve their differences themselves.
