The board announced the measure on Tuesday through its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.
Benjamin explained that the suspension is necessary to restructure examination towns to ensure closer proximity to candidates and reduce transport difficulties on exam days.
He noted that anomalies were detected in the configuration of Ekiti’s exam towns shortly after registration commenced.
“Consequently, candidates will be unable to select any examination town in Ekiti State while the adjustment process is ongoing. This process is expected to be concluded shortly,” Benjamin stated, expressing regret for any inconvenience caused to affected candidates.
