JAMB UTME results release reaches 1.89m candidates as board publishes scores for April 17 and 18 exams
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released additional results for candidates who sat the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in Nigeria, bringing the total number of results issued so far to 1,897,692 as of Sunday, April 20, 2026.

JAMB results release was confirmed by Public Communication Adviser Fabian Benjamin, who said the latest batch covers candidates who wrote the examination on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18.
A total of 1,264,940 results from the two days are now available for candidates to access, according to the board.
“The results of candidates who sat the examination on Friday, 17 April and Saturday, 18 April 2026 have now been released. A total of 1,264,940 results from these two days are available for candidates to check or view,” Benjamin said.
He explained that candidates can check their results by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.
The board had earlier released 632,752 results of candidates who sat for the examination on Thursday, April 16, further strengthening the ongoing JAMB UTME results release process.

The phased publication of results marks a crucial stage in the 2026 examination cycle, as candidates nationwide await outcomes that will determine their admission prospects into tertiary institutions.
