JAMB opens UTME slip printing ahead of 2026 exam

JAMB UTME slip printing 2026 opens as candidates are urged to download exam venue, date and time ahead of the 2026 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB has opened the printing of examination slips for candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), urging applicants to download their details ahead of the exercise.

The board announced the development on Thursday, stating that candidates should visit its official portal to access their examination slips, which contain vital information including venue, date, and time of examination.

JAMB advised candidates to visit jamb.gov.ng and click on the “2026 Slip Printing” option to print their examination slips before the commencement of the examination.

The update comes after the board dismissed a viral notice claiming the examination had been postponed.

It described the information as fake and malicious, urging candidates to ignore such messages.

The 2026 UTME is scheduled to hold between Thursday, April 16 and Saturday, April 25, 2026, across approved Computer-Based Test centres nationwide.

The board previously conducted a mock examination on March 28, which recorded technical challenges in some centres. Out of 224,597 registered candidates, 152,586 participated across 989 CBT centres.

JAMB later confirmed that over 20 centres were delisted due to technical shortcomings.

Authorities also warned candidates against fraudsters circulating false promises on social media, including claims of score manipulation, stressing that such actions are criminal and could lead to sanctions, including cancellation of registration or withholding of results.

JAMB reaffirmed its commitment to a credible and transparent examination process as preparations intensify for the 2026 UTME.
