Brand influencer and entrepreneur Mukoro Ereremena Michelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, has reacted to a Lagos State Internal Revenue Service tax notice demanding an estimated ₦12 million, in a development that has triggered widespread online debate.

The tax shock emerged after the influencer shared details of the tax assessment on her social media page, expressing concern over the financial burden.
King Mitchy, who previously claimed during a public dispute that she earns up to ₦1 million daily from her food business and brand influencing, said the current demand has left her distressed.
In her post, she suggested that her income is largely directed towards charity work and supporting vulnerable individuals, adding that she currently has limited disposable income.
The development has drawn renewed attention due to her earlier public statements on earnings, which have now resurfaced and fuelled online criticism.
