The blog’s allegations named Remi alongside several other celebrities purportedly involved in homosexual activities in Nigeria.

This has led to a flood of reactions across social media platforms, with many expressing disbelief and others voicing their support for the actor during this challenging time.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Remi addressed the controversy directly, urging his followers to maintain positivity on his page.

He expressed his disdain for negativity and reiterated that he is not seeking validation through social media engagement.

“This page is for love and light and good vibes. I’m not desperate for followers or engagement. If you come with darkness and negativity from a blog to my page, DM or phone I will block you. Be it a friend, fan or family,” he stated firmly.

Remi emphasised his commitment to protecting his personal space and energy, stating, “I respect my space and energy TREMENDOUSLY.

That is why I don’t see all this nonsense normally. My boundaries are very clear. Love, light and things.”

The actor’s statements have resonated with many, as they reflect a broader conversation about mental health and the impact of online scrutiny.

Remi, who is married to Tiwi, tied the knot traditionally in Ibadan, Oyo State, on January 19, 2024. His proactive approach in handling the situation demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a positive online environment for his followers.
