LagosPRFest 2025 kicks off August 8 with a powerful theme on urban farming and communication. Expect networking, competitions, lectures, and more

LagosPRFest 2025 is just days away, promising a dynamic celebration of public relations, communication strategies, and industry innovation.

Organized by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Lagos Chapter, this weeklong festival runs from August 8 to 14, 2025.

With the theme “Urban Farming for Food Security: The Role of Communication,” the event positions PR at the heart of urban development and sustainability.

PR professionals, media strategists, and communication experts will converge to explore emerging trends, campaign management tools, and behavioral change communication strategies.

Attendees can expect a packed agenda, including:

  • A virtual pitch competition for mass communication students
  • Sector-led PR sports and fitness events
  • An influential annual lecture
  • The NIPR AGM
  • Countless networking opportunities

Festivities begin this Friday with a vibrant cocktail mixer, while Saturday features the much-anticipated sports event with the “Image Makers” team in action.
