Chief Yussuf Amuda Lawal, known as Ọbẹ̀làwọ̀, has passed away at 95. The Èjìgbò-born businessman and community leader leaves a lasting legacy in Òṣogbo

Prominent businessman and community leader, Chief Yussuf Amuda Lawal, popularly known as Ọbẹ̀làwọ̀, has died at the age of 95.

The respected Èjìgbò-born prince passed away a few hours ago, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of service and positive impact on the people of Òṣogbo and surrounding communities.

Chief Lawal was celebrated for his dedication to community development, philanthropy, and mentorship, earning him respect across generations.

“May his soul rest in peace,” friends, family, and community members said in tribute to the late leader.
