Liverpool will be without Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai for Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League meeting with Austrian side LASK after the trio failed to recover from injuries sustained during the international break.
According to reports, the three players were omitted from Liverpool’s 23-man travelling squad ahead of the encounter at the Raiffeisen Arena in Austria.

Their absences follow Liverpool’s 3-0 Premier League defeat to Manchester City on Sunday, which the injured trio also missed.
Isak withdrew from international duty with a thigh injury, while Gakpo suffered an ankle problem.
Szoboszlai, meanwhile, returned from Hungary’s camp with hamstring tightness.
Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola had expressed doubts about the trio’s availability ahead of the trip, citing the short recovery period and the club’s demanding fixture schedule.
Speaking about Szoboszlai’s condition, Iraola said the midfielder had returned from international duty with tightness and signs of overload.
The club had attempted to manage his workload in training, but he continued to feel discomfort.
With Liverpool facing several matches in a short period, the club will be monitoring the players’ recovery before determining when they can return to action.
The manager was also scheduled to address the media ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League fixture, with further updates expected on the injured players’ fitness.

Liverpool will therefore have to manage the absence of three senior players as they prepare to face LASK in Austria.
