Sharing a picture of the couple with their daughters, Makia and Sasha, she wrkte: “Of all of your accomplishments, I know that being a present, loving father to our girls tops them all. Thank you for never letting the weight of the world get in the way of being a wonderful husband and father. Happy 60th birthday, Barack Obama.”

A member of the Democratic Party, Obama was the first African-American president of the United States. He previously served as a U.S. Senator from Illinois from 2005 to 2008 and as an Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004.
