Luis Díaz Bayern Transfer

Luis Díaz Bayern transfer finalized in €75M deal from Liverpool. Colombian winger signs until 2029, aiming to win titles with Bundesliga champions

Luis Díaz Bayern transfer has been confirmed, with the Colombian winger completing a sensational move from Liverpool to the Bundesliga champions on Wednesday.

The reported €75 million (\$86.5 million) deal makes Díaz the third-most expensive player in Bayern Munich history, behind only Harry Kane and Lucas Hernandez. He has signed a contract until 2029.

“In Luis Díaz, we have succeeded in bringing in one of the best left-wingers in the Premier League,” said Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen. “He brings real character from Liverpool to FC Bayern.”

Díaz, 28, expressed his excitement about joining one of Europe’s biggest clubs. “It means a lot to me to be part of FC Bayern,” he said. “My goal is to win every possible title.”

The move fills a critical gap in Bayern’s attack, with Jamal Musiala sidelined due to injury and key departures like Thomas Müller and Leroy Sané. Díaz is expected to debut in a friendly against Lyon this Saturday.

At Liverpool, Díaz made 50 appearances last season, scoring 17 goals and providing 8 assists. He was instrumental in helping the Reds win the Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cups during his tenure.

On social media, Díaz bid farewell to Liverpool fans, saying he would “treasure forever” his time at Anfield.

The Luis Díaz Bayern transfer also strengthens Bayern’s lineup under new coach Vincent Kompany, bringing both skill and experience to a team eager to reclaim European dominance.
