The coalition of Oódua Self Determination Groups in United Kingdom and Europe has congratulated the Jagaban Borgu, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his emergence as the flagbearer of All Progressives Congress.
In a communique issued after a marathon meetings of diaspora members held in Essex, UK on the 12th June 2022, made available to Freelanews and signed by the coordinator of the group, Comrade Oredolapo Alabi Ibrahim, it believed that Asiwaju Tinubu has all it takes to deliver a better Nigeria as president.
“The group wishes to express her confidence in the capacity of the person of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliver the necessary dividend of democracy.
“His leadership wherewithal to galvanize professionals and seasoned administrators to drive the developmental process to a logical and profitable conclusion in Nigeria is never in doubt,” Comrade Ibrahim said.
The group then implored all Yoruba sons and daughters to give Asiwaju the required support and co-operations, while making known of the group’s intention to work for the eventual emergence of the politician as Nigerian president.
“The group further reiterated her decision to work with and for the Asiwaju final emergence as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Based on his track record and dispositions, he is the most capable and dependable Yoruba son to take the Yoruba slot for the presidency top job,” he disclosed.
In a different development, the group has condemned the attack of a church and gruesome murder of scores of people during a Sunday church service, in Owo town of Ondo State, while commiserating with the government, the people of Ondo State and Yorubaland in general.
