TikTok creator Habeeb Hamzat says his Peller school decision may end his law studies, citing income loss and discomfort in class
Popular TikTok content creator Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has suggested he may abandon his newly secured admission to study law at a private university in Lagos State, only days after publicly celebrating the milestone.

Habeeb Hamzat made the disclosure in a voice note shared on his social media channel on Tuesday, saying that attending classes was interfering with his ability to earn income.
The content creator said spending several hours in lectures without making money had made the experience unacceptable, adding that returning to school was no longer appealing.
Habeeb Hamzat also said he felt out of place among fellow students, claiming he was significantly younger than others in the class.
He stated that he would consider returning to formal education later in life, suggesting that schooling could wait until his thirties or forties.
The remarks mark a sharp and unexpected reversal from his public celebration of gaining admission into a law programme at a private Lagos institution, which he announced in a video that went viral over the weekend.
In that earlier video, Habeeb Hamzat expressed visible excitement, presenting the admission as a response to critics who had mocked his educational background and command of English.
The TikTok creator said at the time that studying law would strengthen his confidence and silence detractors who questioned his level of education.
The Peller school decision has since sparked fresh debate online, particularly among followers who had praised the move as a positive step toward personal development.
Habeeb Hamzat has faced sustained criticism on social media over his grammar and academic background, with some users branding him uneducated, a label he has repeatedly rejected.
Earlier this month, he disclosed plans to further his education partly to improve his spoken English, a goal now clouded by his latest comments.
