The 30-year-old lawmaker took to Instagram to celebrate the legendary Afrobeats star, describing him as “the love of my life” and expressing joy at waking up beside him daily.
“You spaced me with 20 years and you look younger than I do,” she wrote. “My joy is complete with you in it.”
This glowing tribute comes just months after the couple reportedly held a private traditional wedding in Benin City, marking a new chapter for 2Baba following the end of his long-term marriage to actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia.
Their traditional union, which took place at the residence of the Esama of Benin, was attended by close family members and associates but deliberately kept out of the public eye.
The confirmation of their relationship earlier in the year had stirred conversation online, especially given the age gap and 2Baba’s high-profile romantic history.
In February, the musician made his intentions clear, stating publicly:
“Yes, I love her. I want to marry her.”
Natasha Osawaru 2Baba marriage continues to draw public interest, particularly as both figures are influential in their respective fields — Osawaru in politics and 2Baba in music and social advocacy.
The couple’s relationship reflects the merging of Nigeria’s political and entertainment elite, a trend that has become increasingly visible in recent years.
Fans have taken to social media to celebrate 2Baba’s milestone birthday and wish the couple well, even as reactions remain mixed in certain quarters due to the circumstances surrounding 2Baba’s previous marriage.
