Ned Nwoko marital crisis deepens as he accuses Regina Daniels’ siblings and friends of sabotaging her rehabilitation process and fuelling her addiction

Ned Nwoko marital crisis has taken a dramatic turn after the billionaire politician and businessman released a lengthy statement accusing his wife’s siblings and close friends of sabotaging her rehabilitation process.

In a post shared on his verified social media handle, the Delta North Senator claimed that Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, and some of her close associates introduced her to illegal substances and persistently frustrated efforts to help her recover.

According to Nwoko, medical experts handling Regina’s rehabilitation had advised that certain individuals be restricted from visiting her, but her family and friends ignored the directive.

“These videos show Sammy, Regina’s brother, repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff, especially whenever I was not around,” Nwoko stated.

He revealed that despite sponsoring Sammy through his last two years at the University of Ekpoma, providing musical equipment, and giving financial support to their mother, Rita Daniels, the siblings allegedly continued to undermine his efforts.

“I bought his musical instruments, rented and furnished a flat for him in Abuja, and even transferred ₦125 million to their mother in the last two years,” the senator disclosed.

Nwoko further alleged that Regina’s friends, including Destiny and Sonia Uche Montana, encouraged her substance use instead of helping her recover. “Instead of helping her heal, they encouraged her addiction and frustrated doctors’ efforts,” he said.

He also recounted instances of late-night outings and defiance. “On one occasion, she left the house and didn’t return until 9 a.m., saying she was at a nightclub. When I asked why, she said, ‘You’re not my father,’” he narrated.

The senator claimed that Regina’s mother often justified her behaviour as part of a “celebrity lifestyle,” worsening an already tense home atmosphere.

“Imagine trying to help your wife recover, only for her siblings to undo every step by smuggling in the same drugs she was fighting to quit,” he lamented.

Addressing circulating videos of alleged assault, Nwoko dismissed the claims, describing them as “a pure Nollywood scenario.” “Nobody was beaten.

The viral clip was filmed in front of my house by Regina’s sister and her friend,” he clarified.

He added that he had sponsored Regina’s brother Lawrence to study in London with $75,000, while Sammy declined a similar offer and “kept getting into trouble with law enforcement.”

“Sammy has since been arrested several times by both the police and EFCC. What he needs now is professional guidance and rehabilitation,” Nwoko concluded.

Observers say the Ned Nwoko marital crisis underscores the growing tension between the senator and the Daniels family, with public sympathy divided amid conflicting narratives.
