The Kano State Government has announced the discharge of 35 coronavirus patients from the treatment center in the State.
The announcement was made by the state Ministry of health in a tweet via its Twitter account on Monday.
According to the Ministry, the patients were discharged after showing full recovery from the virus.
It also stated that the State now has a total number of 450 discharged patients, with 501 active cases.
The tweet reads “COVID19 Kano Update as at 11:50pm 7th June 2020.
“2 new cases of COVID19 has been confirmed in the state.
“35 additional COVID19 Kano patients were discharged after showing full recovery.
“Residents are advised to take safety measures seriously and always mask up.”
Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria as of today is 12,486, according to the NCDC.
