Nicki Minaj spiritual warfare claims emerge as the rapper alleges powerful industry figures worked against her throughout her career

American rapper Nicki Minaj has alleged that she experienced what she described as constant spiritual warfare throughout her music career, claiming that influential figures within the entertainment industry worked against her after she refused to conform to certain expectations.

Minaj made the remarks during an appearance on The Bryce Crawford Podcast, hosted by evangelist Bryce Crawford, in an interview that gained significant attention online on Tuesday.

Speaking about her journey in the music business, the award-winning rapper said she entered the industry without fully understanding what she now views as its spiritual dimension.

“It was constant spiritual warfare. I wish I kind of knew sooner that this music industry was such a spiritual experience because I felt like I brought a knife to a gunfight without having that information,” she said.

The artist suggested that some powerful figures in the industry viewed performers primarily through a commercial lens and could create obstacles for those unwilling to meet their expectations.

According to Minaj, much of the opposition she encountered stemmed from a personal dispute with an influential individual who allegedly used their position to affect opportunities available to her.

“My situation, I feel like it’s very personal. I feel that there definitely is a group of people who have made things very difficult for me, but I don’t know if they’re Illuminati,” she said.

The rapper added that she believed financial interests were a major factor behind the challenges she faced.

“I always look at it like it was a personal issue that one person didn’t really like me and they happen to be in a powerful position and they were able to use their influence to make people go against me because they couldn’t get certain money with me and they wanted the money not to come to me,” she stated.

Addressing speculation about the existence of the Illuminati, Minaj said she could not verify such claims but remained open to different possibilities.

“I never looked at it as if it was like an entire secret society against me but who knows? It could be, but it definitely has been spiritual,” she said.

The Nicki Minaj Spiritual Warfare comments have sparked fresh debate among fans and industry observers, with many discussing the pressures artists face behind the scenes and the broader role of personal beliefs in navigating fame.

Minaj remains one of the most successful female rappers in music history, with multiple platinum-certified projects and a career spanning nearly two decades.
