DAILY POST recalls that the acting Managing Director of Nigeria Air, Captain Dapo Olumide in a meeting with the Senate Committee on Aviation on Tuesday, confirmed that Ethiopia aircraft was chartered to unveil the country’s national career.

The revelation comes after the House of Representatives had declared the launch of Nigeria Air a scam.

Reacting to this in a tweet on Wednesday, Peter Okoyo lamented how money continues to disappear from the country through corrupt politicians.

He tweeted: “Monkey stole billions, snake swallowed billions only in Nigeria. Now they borrowed an Ethiopian aircraft for a photo shoot worth 190 billion naira wetin remain again, dem go soon sell this country.”

A few hours before the expiration of the former President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, the immediate past Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika on May 26, 2023, hurriedly unveiled Nigeria Air on the claim that it would generate $1 billion in revenue within five years.
