A new generation bank, Lotus, has sought private resolution after a customer accused the bank of stealing money from her account.
Recall Freelanews reports how Lotus Bank deducted over N20,000,000 from a customer’s account.
In its response, the bank reached out to the journalist who ran the story on social media to share update on its readiness to resolve the issue with the aggrieved customer.
“Kindly note that we have sent the customer a DM and would like to carry out the conversation privately with the customer based on the sensitivity of the transaction,” the bank responded.
However, Nigerians were not pacified. Many wondered why the bank was now ready for dialogue after the issue came up on social media, while some wondered how the bank managed to secure an operating licence.
Some were even political about the whole situation.
