A controversial fmr BBNaija housemate, Pere Egbi, must have gotten more than he bargained for when he lend his voice to national discourse.

Freelanews recalls that the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was an aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party where he eventually left since getting the party ticket was not feasible.

Many Nigerians, especially youths were of the opinion that Obi deserved to fly the PDP’s flag more than any other person. The youths’ disappointment was openly voiced with a protest to the party’s headquarter in Abuja demanding that PDP should field the fmr Anambra governor as its candidate.

However, Pere, who has been in the press lately for all the wrong reasons decided, to jump on politics thread. But as it looked, he may have crashed landed.

Recall how the fmr BBNaija housemate was called out and accused of allegedly having illicit affair with the wife of a fmr APC presidential aspirant and governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.

“Peter Obi joined the wrong party. Period,” Pere wrote.

Little did he realise the wrath he had awoken as a salvo from a Twitter handle @Isidore001 (Thomas Not Sankara) hit him square in the face.

“I guessed he should have joined BBnaija Saturday party.

“You didn’t say anything when Nigerians begged PDP to give him their ticket, but they bullied him out…

“Oga, follow ur sugar mummies in peace and endorse Tinubu with your full chest, no dey disguise,” he wrote.

Peter Obi would be facing Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar of PDP and others at the forthcoming general election in 2023.
