The maintenance will be conducted daily between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., according to a statement released on X by TCN.
The exercise will involve decommissioning an old wave trap, installing a new one, and replacing single-circuit towers on the 132/33kV line with modern double-circuit towers.
TCN warned that bulk electricity supply to the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) would be interrupted, affecting Okitipupa, Ondo, and surrounding areas throughout the maintenance period.
The company expressed regret for any inconvenience this planned outage may cause, assuring residents that supply would be promptly restored after the exercise.
