One person was confirmed injured yesterday when two factions of the Plateau State PDP clashed at the party secretariat in Jos, the state capital. They are loyalists of the Acting Chairman Amos Gombi and factional Chairman Chris Hassan.
The police had to use teargas to bring the situation under control.

The fight arose over the legality of the meeting convened by one of the factions at the party secretariat.
