The atmosphere at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, was charged with excitement as Hon. Ladi Adebutu, the gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the last elections in Ogun State, arrived back in the country after an extended vacation in the United Kingdom.

Hon. Adebutu, a prominent political figure in Ogun State, landed on Friday evening, welcomed by an enthusiastic group of party stalwarts, including Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo, former Deputy Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade, the Deputy governorship candidate, and his spokesperson, Afolabi Orekoya.

Pictures captured the PDP standard bearer beaming with smiles and exuding confidence, signaling his readiness to rejoin the political landscape as the party gears up for the upcoming yuletide festivities and the legal battle to reclaim their mandate at the Supreme Court next year.

The return of Hon. Ladi Adebutu marks a significant moment for the PDP in Ogun State, as his presence is expected to energize and strengthen the political fanbase that has been eagerly anticipating his return.

As the gubernatorial candidate in the last elections, Adebutu has remained a prominent figure, and his vacation in the UK was seen as a well-deserved break before reengaging in political activities.

Accompanied by party leaders and supporters, Hon. Adebutu expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and assured the people of Ogun State that he is rejuvenated and more determined to pursue the party’s goals in the coming year.

Hon. Akinlade, emphasized the importance of Adebutu’s return to the political landscape, describing it as a morale booster for the party and its supporters.
