Phyna, who won the Big Brother Naija Level Up season, recently revealed she had undergone a 360 liposuction procedure and a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), a disclosure that immediately sparked intense debate across social media platforms.
The controversy deepened after some online users questioned the timing of the surgery, citing the emotional proximity to her family bereavement less than a year ago.
In a strongly worded reaction shared in a now-deleted comment, Phyna dismissed her critics as judgmental, arguing that grief is experienced differently by individuals and should not be policed by public opinion.
Phyna wrote that many of those criticising her were projecting personal frustrations, adding that she had already taken time to mourn her sister in her own way and was at peace with her healing process.
The reality star further intensified reactions after responding bluntly to a social media user who questioned her actions, a comment that quickly went viral and fuelled divided opinions online.
While some supporters defended Phyna’s right to make personal health and body decisions without public interference, others argued that her response was insensitive given the nature of the discussion.
