In a video that has gone viral, Portable claimed that Olamide is not responsible for his fame or success and questioned the actions of those allegedly blocking his music.

”Eyin fans mi, egbami. I’m bigger than them Zaazu zeh. Who are those people that said they should not play my song. Ahh. I heard that Tunde Perry said Olamide said they should not play my song again. Are you my God? Do you feed me? I have my own fans oo. I’m bigger than anybody. You are not the ones taking care of me, my wife and kids. Don’t use your assistance to stress me, are you the only one that will stress me?” he said.

Portable’s remarks follow a series of outspoken statements from the singer targeting industry heavyweights, including Wizkid and Burna Boy, over alleged barriers faced by new artists.
