Portable vows a one-round knockout over Carter Efe in their celebrity boxing bout on May 1, warning his opponent not to back out
Controversial singer Portable has declared that his celebrity boxing bout against Carter Efe will go ahead as scheduled on May 1, warning that the fight will be over in a single round. The match is set to take place at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.

Portable, known for previous exhibition wins against Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington, insisted that Carter Efe cannot back out despite claims of withdrawal attempts.
“Him think say him fit run? The fight must happen. Carter Efe no fit hide. I go find him. One round, that’s all I need. After one round, them go carry him go hospital. Make him come,” he said in pidgin.
The singer also mocked Carter Efe’s training preparations, dismissing fellow musician Small Doctor, who has been working as a sparring partner, as insufficient.
Portable urged the skit maker to find a more capable trainer ahead of the bout, citing a prior victory over Small Doctor at the residence of businessman Abu Abel.
The fight has been sanctioned by the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control and headlines the Chaos in the Ring 4 event.

The card is promoted by Balmoral Group Promotions in association with former world heavyweight champion Amir Khan’s AK Promotions, and will be broadcast live worldwide.
