Orelope-Adefulire marks 65 years with praise from Oba Obalanlege for her outstanding contributions to public service

A proud daughter of Aworiland, Princess Orelope-Adefulire is widely admired for her integrity, grace, and devotion to public service.
His Majesty, Oba Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege, the Olota of Otta, Aworiland, sent a heartfelt message to honour the occasion.
The Olota praised her as a trailblazer, acknowledging her service as the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State and her current role as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
His Majesty commended her unwavering commitment to advancing the nation’s development, particularly through grassroots initiatives that uplift women and improve local communities.
“Her visionary leadership has transformed lives by aligning her work with the goals of the SDGs,” His Majesty remarked, further highlighting her dedication to Aworiland.
The Seriki of Otta, High Chief Olanrewaju Bashorun, represented the Olota at a special thanksgiving service held at the Church of Resurrection, Victoria Island, Lagos.
