Promasidor Nigeria donates a borehole and water tower to Isolo community palace in Lagos as part of its CSR initiative to improve access to clean water

Promasidor Nigeria has strengthened its corporate social responsibility drive with the donation of a water tower and borehole system to the palace of the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom in Lagos State.

The borehole donation was officially commissioned on Thursday, 21 May 2026, at the palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba Isa Abiodun Faronbi-Shekoni, the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom.

The commissioning ceremony attracted the monarch, Olori Tawakalitu Abike Faronbi-Shekoni, members of the royal cabinet, and senior executives of Promasidor Nigeria.

Speaking at the event, Chief Executive Officer François Gillet said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to supporting sustainable development in its host communities.

He noted that access to clean water remains essential to public health, dignity, and economic growth, stressing that the project aligns with global development goals on water and sanitation.

Gillet said Promasidor Nigeria believes in building long-term relationships with communities through trust, respect, and shared progress.

He also expressed appreciation to the Isolo community for its continued support and cooperation over the years.

“We sincerely value the warmth and goodwill we have received from the Isolo community and look forward to sustaining this cordial relationship for many years to come,” he said.

In his remarks, Oba Faronbi commended the company for what he described as a meaningful intervention that would improve access to clean water within the palace and surrounding areas.

He added that the project would serve both the palace and the wider community, while praying for the continued success of the company.

Promasidor Nigeria said the donation forms part of its broader commitment to nourishing Nigerians through quality food products and contributing to national development through job creation and community-focused initiatives.
