Prunet Digital Agency and its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Promise Ekewuba, were honoured in Lagos, Nigeria, as they emerged among top winners at the Brand Handlers Summit & Awards 2026, a gathering of leading marketing communications professionals across the country.

Prunet Digital Agency award win saw the company named Digital Creative Agency of the Year in recognition of its strong performance in digital innovation, creative execution and brand communication within Nigeria’s integrated marketing communications sector.

Mr. Promise Ekewuba also received the Distinguished Marketing Professional of the Year award, a recognition organisers said reflected his visionary leadership, strategic influence and sustained contribution to the growth of the digital marketing ecosystem.

The summit, organised by MARKETING SPACE, brought together advertising executives, media professionals, creatives and brand custodians from across Nigeria to celebrate excellence in marketing communications.

Organisers described Prunet Digital Agency as a standout performer in delivering innovation-driven campaigns that continue to shape how brands engage audiences in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

They further noted that Mr. Ekewuba’s recognition was a powerful acknowledgment of his forward-thinking approach and his role in advancing conversations around digital transformation in Nigeria’s marketing industry.

The 2026 edition of the Brand Handlers Summit & Awards was themed “Marketing the New Africa: Driving Growth Through Innovation, Culture, and Youth Influence,” reflecting the industry’s focus on creativity and emerging market dynamics.
