Samklef another musician and producer who made the allegation shared on the a microblogging platform that the Lagos State Government recently did a show, and some Nigerian celebrities were at the event.

Oduala reacting to the allegation defended Davido who had allegedly turned down an invite to an event after discovering that the event was a partly sponsored programme by the Lagos State government.

I remember Lagos State Government organised a concert a few days ago and covertly invited celebrities. The moment Davido found out they were one of the sponsors, he cancelled!
