Rilwan Nasiru arrested after brutal murder of Dr. Morenikeji Oluwaniyi, who was killed during an Uber ride in Lagos
Rilwan Nasiru has been arrested alongside his accomplices after the brutal killing of Dr. Morenikeji Oluwaniyi, a medical doctor who was moonlighting as an Uber driver to support his livelihood.

According to police reports, Nasiru, along with Sodiq Taiwo and 20-year-old Oladimeji, booked an Uber ride around 10:20 p.m. in Lagos.
They lured the unsuspecting doctor to Meiran, where he was strangled from behind.
After taking his life, the suspects dumped Oluwaniyi’s body near Abule Egba bridge along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway before fleeing with his Toyota Corolla.
Unbeknownst to the killers, the stolen car had a tracker installed. Law enforcement swiftly traced the vehicle, leading to the arrest of the suspects.
The chilling incident has sparked outrage in Lagos, with many residents expressing shock at the rising cases of violent crimes targeting ride-hailing drivers.
