Rite Foods Limited has secured international recognition after being named Best Foods and Beverage Brand, Nigeria 2026, at the Global Brand Awards ceremony held in Dubai on 2 October 2026, marking another milestone for the Nigerian fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturer.
The award, organised by UK-based Global Brands Magazine, recognises brands for their performance in areas including innovation, product quality, market impact and consumer engagement.

The announcement was made public by the company on 19 October.
The recognition highlights Rite Foods’ growing portfolio of locally manufactured consumer products and its focus on product development, manufacturing standards and customer satisfaction in Nigeria’s competitive food and beverage market.
Speaking on the recognition, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Rite Foods, Seleem Adegunwa, described the award as validation of the company’s efforts to build Nigerian brands capable of competing internationally.
“These recognitions reflect our firm commitment to innovation, quality and consumer satisfaction,” Adegunwa said.
He added that the company remained committed to developing products that connect with consumers while improving manufacturing excellence, brand experience and market relevance.
He also credited the achievement to the efforts of employees, business partners and loyal consumers.
Rite Foods operates across several consumer categories, with a portfolio that includes Bigi carbonated soft drinks, Bigi Table Water, Sosa Fruit Drink, Fearless Energy Drink and its range of sausage rolls.
The company has also introduced LIDA Malt as part of its expanding beverage offering.
According to the company, the Bigi carbonated soft drinks range comprises 13 variants, while Sosa Fruit Drink is available in five flavours. Fearless Energy Drink comes in Classic and Red Berry variants.
These products are manufactured at the company’s automated production facility, which Rite Foods says supports its commitment to quality, efficiency and consistent product delivery.
The award also follows other industry recognition received by the company and its leadership.
In April 2026, Adegunwa was named Industrialist of the Year at the Vanguard Personality of the Year Awards, recognising his leadership and contributions to Nigeria’s FMCG sector.
In September, Rite Foods and Adegunwa received further recognition at the 2026 Marketing Edge Awards in Lagos.
The company was named Outstanding FMCG Corporate Brand of the Year, while Adegunwa received the Outstanding FMCG Brand Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Beyond product development, Rite Foods has pursued consumer engagement through entertainment partnerships, sports initiatives, youth empowerment and community development programmes.
Such activities form part of its wider efforts to strengthen brand visibility and maintain connections with Nigerian consumers.
The latest award comes as local manufacturers continue to compete for consumer loyalty in a market shaped by changing purchasing power, production costs and evolving preferences.
In this environment, maintaining product quality while delivering value remains important to sustaining brand growth.
For Rite Foods, the Dubai recognition offers an opportunity to reinforce its position in Nigeria’s food and beverage sector while drawing attention to the potential of indigenous manufacturing businesses to build competitive brands.
However, the award itself does not establish market leadership or independently measure the company’s performance against every competitor.

Its broader significance will depend on how effectively Rite Foods continues to translate recognition into consumer trust, product innovation and sustainable business growth.
