Rotary International District 9112 has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to humanity, as Rotarians across Lagos and Ogun states converged for a high-impact fundraising event aimed at supporting life-changing humanitarian projects across vulnerable communities.
The fundraiser, which brought together Rotary leaders, members, corporate partners and friends of the organisation, served as both a rallying point for compassion and a powerful statement of Rotary’s enduring mission to serve above self.
District Governor, Rtn. Lanre Adedoyin, while addressing participants, described the initiative as a reaffirmation of Rotary’s values, stressing that service to humanity remains the heartbeat of the organisation.
He noted that the funds raised would be deployed strategically to support healthcare, education, sanitation, youth empowerment and community development projects across the district.
According to him, Rotary’s impact is best measured by the lives it touches, adding that the district is determined to deepen its reach by investing in sustainable interventions that directly improve the quality of life of underserved populations.
