Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of the Fountain of Life Church has lost the lady he married after his first wife perished in an aircraft tragedy sixteen years ago.
Nomthi, Odukoya’s second wife, died in the early hours of Tuesday, according to a church statement.
She was claimed to have been battling cancer for more than two years.
“We must announce the death of our Senior Pastor’s wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya, with deep regret and gratitude to God.”
She fought cancer for over two years, relying on God’s Word to keep her going.
“We loved her with all our hearts, but who are we to oppose God’s will?” “The fact is that we will all have to say goodbye at some point in our lives.” So, until we meet again in glory, Pastor Nomthi, goodbye.”
Bimbo Odukoya died when the Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 flight she boarded to Port Harcourt from Abuja crashed on December 10 2005.
She had initially survived the crash but died from injuries sustained a day later.
