Assistant coach Dean Holden confirmed that the 32-year-old’s recovery is progressing as planned, although Ajayi has not yet resumed full team training.

Ajayi has missed the Tigers’ last seven matches across all competitions due to the injury. He joined Hull City on a free transfer last summer, leaving West Bromwich Albion, and has scored once in 12 league appearances for the club.
