Senator Mudashiru Husain commends Iyiola Omisore’s leadership, service, and academic contributions as he marks his 68th birthday

Senator Mudashiru Husain, a frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has warmly felicitated Senator Iyiola Omisore on his 68th birthday, praising him as a true statesman and a distinguished figure in Nigeria’s political and academic spheres.

The former lawmaker, who represented Osun West Senatorial District, described Omisore as “a symbol of service, leadership, and scholarship,” in a statement released to mark the birthday of the former Deputy Governor of Osun State and erstwhile APC National Secretary.

Reflecting on Omisore’s illustrious career, Senator Mudashiru Husain highlighted his pivotal role in Osun’s early democratic development, noting that his tenure as Deputy Governor was instrumental in laying the groundwork for modern governance in the state.

“Omisore’s leadership style has always been a blend of political dexterity and deep commitment to the welfare of the people,” he said.

Husain also lauded Omisore’s achievements in the Senate, where he served as a Federal lawmaker, and his more recent contributions to party administration as the National Secretary of the APC.

According to Husain, Omisore brought his technical expertise, political acumen, and integrity to every public office he occupied, reinforcing public trust in governance and party leadership.

He further extolled Omisore’s legacy in the field of engineering and education, describing him as “a leader driven by knowledge, vision, and capacity.”

“In the academic world, Senator Omisore has contributed significantly, particularly in engineering, where his thought leadership has inspired a new generation of innovators and scholars,” Husain noted.

Concluding his tribute, Senator Mudashiru Husain offered prayers for Omisore’s continued good health, wisdom, and enduring relevance in national development.
