Seyi Vodi outfit pricing revelation shows Nigerian designer now charges up to $300,000 per outfit while reflecting on humble beginnings

Oluwaseyi Adekunle, popularly known as Seyi Vodi, a Nigerian billionaire fashion designer, on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, disclosed during a recent interview that he now charges up to 300,000 dollars, about 400 million naira, for a single outfit.

The revelation has drawn wide attention across Nigeria’s fashion and entertainment circles.

The designer explained that his brand now caters to high net worth individuals and top political and entertainment figures.

He described the pricing as a reflection of exclusivity and craftsmanship in luxury fashion.

Seyi Vodi added that his journey began from modest circumstances during his National Youth Service Corps year.

He said his first earnings were 3,600 naira, which he saved carefully.

He further revealed that he once sold ice water while in the barracks and began tailoring at very low prices before building his fashion empire.

The designer, who also holds the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger, said discipline and consistency shaped his rise in the industry.

His clientele reportedly includes top Nigerian figures across politics, business, and entertainment, reinforcing his position as one of the country’s most influential luxury designers.
