The Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC), under the leadership of Governor Charles Soludo, approved the grand opening during its 12th meeting at the Light House, Awka.

Solution Fun City, set to become the largest entertainment park in Africa, is a flagship project of Governor Soludo’s transformation agenda.

Designed as a recreational haven, the facility aims to provide a space where residents and visitors can play, relax, and enjoy world-class amenities.

Speaking after the ANSEC meeting, Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor, announced that the event would be open to all residents free of charge, aligning with the governor’s inclusive governance model.

The Solution Fun City was among key projects commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his recent visit to Anambra.

Anambra is rising and we are ready to work with you.

Other projects included the state-of-the-art Government House and Lodge—now named the Light House—featuring the Governor’s and Deputy Governor’s residences, 24 modern structures, a global-standard amphitheatre, and an executive auditorium.

The newly constructed eight-lane Emeka Anyaoku Boulevard was also officially opened.

President Tinubu, visibly impressed by the scale and ambition of the projects, said, “Anambra is rising and we are ready to work with you,” signalling federal endorsement of Governor Soludo’s development vision.

Soludo’s administration has earned national acclaim for revitalising key sectors including education, healthcare, agriculture, transportation, human capital development, and security.

He was recently recognised as the best-performing governor in primary healthcare in the Southeast and across Nigeria.

The launch of Solution Fun City adds another feather to the cap of an administration that has demonstrated commitment to progressive governance and infrastructural transformation.

Despite belonging to different political parties, President Tinubu lauded Soludo’s achievements, describing him as a “true achiever” and reaffirming his willingness to collaborate on development initiatives.

With the gates of the mini city now open, Anambra residents will enjoy full access to an array of facilities, symbolising a new chapter in the state’s urban renewal.
