Tayo Ayinde, Lagos Chief of Staff, hailed by Ayo Mojoyin as a pillar of governance and silent strategist on his birthday

Tayo Ayinde, Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, has been warmly celebrated on his birthday by media executive Ayo Mojoyin, who described him as a “pillar of Lagos governance” and a silent force behind the success of the Sanwo-Olu administration.

In a heartfelt tribute, Mojoyin highlighted Ayinde’s journey from his days in the State Security Service—where he served as a trusted protector to then-Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu—to becoming one of the most influential figures in the current government.

“Mr. Ayinde is not only a loyal and humble leader but also a visionary strategist who has consistently placed service above self,” Mojoyin noted.

“His commitment, discipline, and quiet strength continue to inspire many of us in public and private life.”

Fondly nicknamed “Buffalo”, Ayinde has gained a reputation for his behind-the-scenes influence, unshakable loyalty, and administrative brilliance, qualities that have helped anchor Lagos’ political and developmental stability.

This public recognition adds to the growing appreciation for the vital roles played by seasoned civil servants in shaping effective governance.
