Teddy A and Bambam Instagram unfollow fuels fresh concern about their marriage, months after separate holiday posts sparked rumours

Tope Adenibuyan, popularly known as Teddy A, and Bamike Adenibuyan, widely called Bambam, have sparked fresh concern in Lagos on 11 February 2026 after fans noticed that the married reality television stars no longer follow each other on Instagram.

The development has intensified speculation that the couple’s more than five-year-old marriage may be facing challenges, although neither Teddy A nor Bambam has publicly addressed the situation.

The latest social media activity comes months after rumours of a possible rift first surfaced in December 2025, when both personalities shared separate Christmas photoshoots.

The posts prompted online debate, with followers questioning why the pair, known for joint festive portraits, appeared apart during the holidays.

The Teddy A and Bambam Instagram unfollow has since placed the couple under renewed public scrutiny, with screenshots circulating across fan pages and entertainment blogs.

Teddy A and Bambam met during the 2018 edition of Big Brother Naija and married in Dubai in 2019.

Over the years, the pair cultivated a powerful brand around their relationship, frequently sharing family moments with their children and collaborating on commercial projects.

Bambam described how the romance began unexpectedly inside the BBNaija house.

“It started as a game. I didn’t even know it would become something serious. It wasn’t part of my plan to fall in love in the house, but I guess everything happened according to fate,” Bambam said at the time.

The renewed rumours are also emerging days after Teddy A addressed past domestic abuse allegations that once trailed the marriage.

In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo shared on Instagram, Teddy A described the claims as false and distressing.

According to Teddy A, the allegations, which claimed physical abuse including during pregnancy, caught both spouses off guard.

“At the time, I didn’t understand the damage staying silent would do. Even now, when my wife and I post photos or videos, people still comment and ask if I beat her,” Teddy A said, reflecting on the episode.

Teddy A explained that a decision to initially remain silent was taken on professional advice, with the hope that the controversy would fade.

Teddy A later acknowledged that the silence had unintended consequences.

As of the time of filing this report, no official statement has been issued regarding the Instagram activity.

Fans continue to speculate online, with many expressing hope that the move reflects a misunderstanding rather than confirmation of marital trouble.
