Temitope Chigbue, known on Big Brother Naija as Temi Nkem, turned Sunday’s live eviction into her own show with a smile, a wave and one word: “Chakam.”
The 21-year-old London-born housemate has spent nine weeks in the Season 11 “Show Ya Sef” house as one of its loudest figures. Drama, energy and performance have followed her.

On Sunday night she commanded the room again, though not in the way eviction nights usually unfold.
Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu appeared to tell Temi Nkem that her time in the house was over. Housemates waited for Biggie’s verdict. For a moment it looked as if she was leaving.
She did not cry. She did not look crushed. She smiled, waved to the others and, as she moved out, reportedly said, “Chakam.”
BBNaija eviction nights are often heavy. After weeks under Biggie’s watch, housemates meet exits with tears, hugs and shock.
Official coverage of Cassi’s Week Four eviction, for example, showed Nomy and Tram in tears after Ebuka sent Cassi home.
Temi Nkem played a different scene.
That calm had a prelude. Earlier on Sunday she told Biggie she wanted to reach the finale but would still be proud if she left.
She had reached Week Nine without immunity and said she would be glad of the run, even if an early exit would hurt.
She entered the house promising luxury, spice and a presence that would be hard to miss.
She has been at the centre of rows with Oyin and Flora, including her “local birds” remark, which sparked a fierce clash and became a talking point of the season.
Sunday’s spotlight was not an argument. It was composure. She treated the apparent goodbye as part of the game.
Then came the twist. The send-off was staged. Official coverage had already listed her among the 10 housemates heading into the finale after Week Nine’s immunity twist.

For a few minutes the exit looked real. In that window she gave viewers something other than the usual eviction sadness. She did not have to leave the house to take the night.
