Tinubu mourns Esther Arthur-Worrey, mother of ex-Lagos AG Fola Arthur-Worrey, describing her as a woman of grace and enduring legacy

Tinubu mourns Esther Arthur-Worrey, the late mother of former Lagos State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Fola Arthur-Worrey, who passed away on October 29 at the age of 98.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu described the late Chief (Mrs) Esther Olufunke Arthur-Worrey as “a woman of grace, fortitude, and faith who devoted her life to family and community service.”

The President extolled her exemplary life anchored on strong moral values, compassion, and a commitment to the well-being of others, noting that her influence extended well beyond her family circle.

“Mama Arthur-Worrey lived a fulfilled life of purpose and impact. She raised a family of accomplished individuals dedicated to service and the public good. Her legacy of kindness, discipline, and godliness will continue to inspire generations,” the President said.

President Tinubu extended his condolences to the Arthur-Worrey family, praying for comfort and strength as they mourn their matriarch.

He urged them to take solace in the remarkable life she led, which, he noted, “left a lasting impact on all who encountered her.”

The President concluded his message with a prayer that God would grant the departed eternal rest and give her family the fortitude to bear the loss.
